Andrea Costa was born in Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno).
He found the will to paint almost by chance.
The landscapes and the faces on his canvases are the result of his love of, his vision of, the real world around him,
Seen and interpreted in a sober and decisive way.
More than the paint brush colour is his espressive medium.
Alternating tones and colours, in intense multicoloured strokes become themselves narrative elements in the work and themselves subjects in it.
